OLDFORD, ANDREW "ANDY" G. The death of Andy Oldford of Saint John, NB occurred at the Saint John Regional Hospital after a lengthy illness on Wednesday, December 8th, 2004. Born on July 8th, 1954 in Kentville, NS, he was the son of Dorothy (Winters) Oldford and the late Andrew J. W. Oldford. Andy was involved with many things throughout the years. He was a past member of the Oromocto Public Hospital Foundation, the Oromocto Lions Club, the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #93 and the Diabetes Association. He will be sadly missed by his mother, Dorothy of Oromocto, NB; companion, Barbie Sewell of Saint John, NB; brother, Robert Oldford (Barbara) of Geary, NB; sister, Sharon Flight (Ford) of Waasis, NB; nephew, Robbie Oldford of Geary, NB; nieces, Candace Flight of Waasis, NB and Jessica and Chrissy Oldford of Geary, NB and great niece, Makayla Flight of Waasis, NB. There will be no visitation by request. A private memorial service will be held at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday, December 12th, 2004 for family and invited friends. Interment will take place in the Burton Cemetery at a later date.
