REED, VERA K. The death of Vera K. Reed of Minto, NB occurred Thursday, December 16th, 2004 at the Gagetown Nursing Home. Born in Cernocna, Romania she was the daughter of the late George and Dominica (Drobet) Kapitsky. Survived by her husband Alfred J. Reed of Chipman, NB; a son Alfred Reed Jr.; three daughters, Elizabeth (Betty) Reed, Veronica Reed and Candus Mofford (Wayne) all of Montreal; three sisters, Sophie Benoit of Ontario, Olga Reed of Minto and Rosie Wilkins of Montreal; ten grandchildren, and one great granddaughter. In addition to her parents, Vera was predeceased by a daughter Gloria Reed; three sisters Katherine Garbacz, Jeannie Pepin and Mary Zegray; a brother Johnny Kapitsky. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home 327-3490 with visiting Friday evening from 7-9 pm. Funeral service will take place 1:00 pm Saturday, December 18th, 2004 from the Parker Memorial Chapel with Father P. Stephen officiating. Interment will take place in St. Bridgits Cemetery, Hardwood Ridge, NB.
