Mrs. Annie Elizabeth Thompson, age 87, Maple Street, Stellarton, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2008, in Shiretown Nursing Home, Pictou. Born in Stellarton, she was a daughter of the late John and Jane (Dodds) Forbes. She is survived by her daughter, Diane MacPhee, Stellarton; granddaughter, Beth Roberts (Tim), Salt Springs and grandson, Ross MacPhee, Central West River, sisters-in-law, Alice MacKenzie (Ian), Mill Brook; Annie Halliday, Ontario, and brother-in-law, Robert Thompson, Westville. Mrs. Thompson was predeceased by her husband Ross Thompson and son John Ross Thompson. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Eagles Funeral Home, Westville. Her funeral service will be held 2 o’clock Wednesday from Eagles Funeral Chapel, Westville with the Rev. Charles MacPherson officiating. Burial be in the Auburn Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
