O'DONNELL, VANCE M. On Friday January 7, 2005, Vance Myles O'Donnell of Fredericton passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital at the age of 83. Born in Doaktown, NB he was a son of the late Frank S. and Florence J. (Storey) O'Donnell. Vance was a businessman all his life having operated several service stations in the Fredericton area. He was a faithful member of the Fredericton First United Pentecostal Church. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Pearl E. (Benjamin) O'Donnell; a step-daughter June Peterson (Percy) of French Lake; a step-son Roy A. Rogers (Brenda) of Kentville, NS; step grandchildren and two step great great grandchildren; two brothers, Harold (Olive) O'Donnell and Lorey (Maxine) O'Donnell and a sister Jean (Nan) MacDonald, a sister-in-law Vera O'Donnell all of Fredericton; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by his parents, a brother, Blaine O'Donnell and a sister Valda Grant. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, where visitation will be held Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be held from the Fredericton First United Pentecostal Church, 71 Downing St., on Tuesday at 2:00 PM with Rev. Raymond Woodworth officiating assisted by Rev. Joe Beesley.
