MCDONALD, GLENNA E. On Thursday January 13, 2005 Glenna Elaine McDonald of Cambridge-Narrows, NB passed away at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital at the age of 52. Born in Sussex, NB, she was a daughter of Mary E. (Gregg) McAllister and the late George E. McAllister. She was a teacher having taught at the Cambridge-Narrows School during most of her teaching career. She had a passion for the Arts and was actively involved in the Arts Community. Glenna was also an active canvasser for the Canadian Cancer Society and The Canadian Red Cross and she never missed the Hip Hip Hooray campaign. She was affiliated with Smythe Street Cathedral. She is survived by her husband, Nelson McDonald; three daughters, Jessica (Jason) Airman of Atlanta, Georgia, Sacha McDonald of Fredericton and Karah McDonald of Cambridge, NB; one son, Denys (Joanne) McDonald of Fredericton; her mother Mary of Ripples, NB; three sisters, Linda Mosher of St. Stephen, NB, Joyce Coleman of Ripples and Laverne McAllister of Fredericton; five brothers, George (Rhonda) McAllister of Fredericton, Gregg McAllister of Moncton, Gary (Carole) McAllister of Fredericton, Douglas (Heidi) McAllister of Fredericton and Milton McAllister of Moncton; numerous special nieces and nephews; numerous special cousins especially Barbara McAllister; 8 aunts, Margaret McAllister, Marlene Taylor, Mary Bird, Lorna Kools, Judy Perry, Brenda Fowlie, Ellen Malloy and Janice Chase; 2 uncles, Aubrey McAllister and Ivan McAllister. Predeceased by her father George E. McAllister; a brother Charles McAllister; a nephew Ben Coleman; paternal grandmother Olive McAllister, paternal grandfather Walter McAllister; Jessie Lunergan; maternal grandmother Meta Gregg and maternal grandfather Horatio Gregg; 1 aunt, Mabel MacBeth; 7 uncles, Charlie, Bill and Ronald Gregg, Ernest and Wilfred Jordon and Walter McAllister. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, where visitation will be held Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held from Smythe Street Cathedral, 913 Smythe St., Fredericton, on Monday, January 17, 2005 at 10:00 am. Rev. Wayne Flowers and Rev. Joe Beesley will officiate.
