MCEACHERN, JOHN FREDERICK (JACK) Of Rothesay, NB, husband of Deborah E. (Briggs) McEachern, passed away on Monday, January 17, 2005 after a period of failing health. Jack was born in Saint John, NB, to the late Edgar and Ida (Brenton) McEachern. He lived most of his life in Quispamsis and Rothesay. He worked for Air Canada retiring after 25 years. Jack was a master carpenter. He loved wood working and enjoyed the outdoors. He was a member of St. Paul's Anglican Church, Rothesay. Besides his wife, he is survived by one son Jonathan Craig McEachern (Lori) of Saint John, two grand- daughters Jillian Elizabeth and Jenna Ann McEachern, two step daughters, D. Shyanne Gray (Stephen) of Maine, Michelle L. Tidd (Barry) of Oromocto, NB, two step grand-daughters Megan Shyanne and Jaden Ashley Gray of Maine, three step grand-sons Taylor Ryan and Matthew Allan, Ethan Hunter Tidd of Oromocto, five sisters Vivian Cornfield (John), Iris Pattman (Merrit Logan), Joyce Gates, Dawn Doull (Robert) all of Saint John and Francis Finley (Charles) of Nerepis, NB, one brother Edgar McEachern of Saint John, NB, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his first wife, Elizabeth (Humphrey) McEachern (Betty) and two sisters, Phyllis and Irma McEachern. Resting at Castle "Kings Chapel" Funeral Home, 154 Hampton Road, (506-849-1702) from where the visitation will be held on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 20, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Anglican Church, Rothesay, NB. Interment will take place in the spring in St. Lukes Anglican Church Cemetery, Gondola Point, NB. In lieu of flowers donations to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Diabetes Association or charity of the donors choice would be appreciated by the family.
