DUNPHY, MARVIN ALEXANDER Marvin Alexander Dunphy, husband of the late Bernice Dunphy, died on Jan 21,2005 in Lethbridge, AB after a lengthy illness. Born in Stanley on Sept 13,1931, Marvin ran a barbershop, drove school bus and then worked construction with NB Power for 17 years. He was also a volunteer Fire Chief in the village for many years. He is survived by children David(Pat) of Fredericton, Debbie(Alfie) of Fredericton, Tim(Bette) of Calgary, Tony (Mindy) of Vauxhall, Lisa of Fredericton and Robert(Michele) of Whitecourt; brothers Floyd(Connie) of Maple Grove, Vernon(Velma) of Boiestown and one sister Ina (Garnet) of Fredericton; sixteen grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. He was predeceased by parents Otto and Dora Dunphy and brother Walter. Visitation will be held on Tuesday January 25, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Dr. Fredericton NB. Funeral service will be held from St. Thomas Anglican Church in Stanley on January 26, 2005 at 11am with Rev. Ranall Ingalls officiating.
