MERSEREAU, INEZ ROBERTA Inez Roberta Mersereau of Fredericton Jct, died at the Saint John Regional Hospital, on Saturday, January, 22nd, 2005 at the age of 81. Born in Tracy, NB she is the daughter of the late John Edward & Eva Louisa (Chisholm) Segee. Inez worked as a custodian with the Gladstone Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion # 55 for eight and a half years. She was a member of the Tracy United Baptist Church for over 50 years involved with the Sunday School, church choir, various other church clubs, as well as the BYP (Young People's) Mission Circle. She loved music as a member of the choir for years and loved her other interests in gardening, knitting, crochet, work as a homemaker and of course farming which was a big part of her life. Inez is survived by two sons Ronnie Mersereau (Alice), Kennie Mersereau (Marscelle), one daughter Carol Davenport (Michael) all of Fredericton Jct, six grandchildren, five great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. She was the last survivng member of her immediate family . Inez was predeceased by her son Eddie, three husbands Rainsford Mersereau, 2nd husband Ralph McIntyre and 3rd husband Keith Mersereau, five sisters, Annie, Jessie, Eva, Alice, Nellie, four brothers Joseph, Guy, Harry and Herbie. Resting at Tracy United Baptist Church Visitation Room on Tuesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January, 26th, 2005 at 3:00 pm at Tracy United Baptist Church, Rev. Jim Harrison officiating. A reception will immediately follow the service in the church hall. The interment will take place in the spring in the Tracy United Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers remembrances to the NB Heart & Stroke Foundation or to the Tracy United Baptist Church Memorial Door Fund would be appreciated by the family.
