Passed peacefully away at the Glenbrook Lodge on June 13, 2008. Devoted and loving husband of Mary King (Moores). Predeceased by his parents Samuel and Annie Maud King of Bauline, beloved daughter Glenys and brothers and sisters William, Ambrose, Raymond, Noami, Janie, Mae, Irene and Winnie. Leaving to mourn his wife Mary and his children: daughter Winnie Hanley (John), grandchildren Christopher and Jennifer; son Chester (Dawn) grandchildren Stephanie and Angela; son Len (Sally), grandchildren Celina, Samuel, Lenny and great-grandchildren Colby and Morgan; daughter Lois Ford (Gary), grandchildren Amy and Carla; son Scott (Gina), grandchildren Deanna and Katlin; son David (Elaine) and grandson Michael; his three sisters Lizzie Priest (Len), Hazel Legrow (Angus, deceased) and Lena Smith; sister-in-law Rose King, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a large circle of friends. Resting at Carnell's Funeral Home, 329 Freshwater Rd. on Saturday and Sunday 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held from the Carnell Memorial Chapel on Monday, June 16 at 2:00 p.m. Interment at Bauline United Church Cemetery.
