THORBURN – Paul Andrew (Mutt) MacDonald, age 33, of 100 New Row, Thorburn, passed away on December 23, 2007, in MacPherson’s Mills. Born in New Glasgow he was a son of Gerald and Ann (Morton) MacDonald of Thorburn. Paul was a resident of Thorburn all of his life. He was a member of St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church, Thorburn. Paul worked a great deal of his life doing construction with Nova Construction, Alva Construction and the last six months, Richard Construction of Fort McMurray. He also worked previously with Michelin and Luke Swallow’s Service Station. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed playing and coaching hockey. Surviving besides his parents are a brother, Darrell (Audrey) of Thorburn; two nephews, Branden and Aaren; paternal grandmother, Anna MacDonald of Thorburn; a number of aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, Mark, in infancy; paternal grandfather, John MacDonald, maternal grandparents, George and Sadie Morton. Cremation has taken place. No visitation by request. A service will be held at a later date . Arrangements are under the direction of the H.W.Angus Funeral Home, New Glasgow.
