THOMAS, SCOTT DOUGLAS The death of Scott Douglas Thomas of Royal Road, occurred at home on Wednesday, February 9, 2005. Born in Fredericton, NB, he was a son of Margaret (McGowen) and Roy Anderson and Bruce Thomas. Scott enjoyed spending time with his friends, snowmobiling, car racing and the camp. His dog, Dallas, was very special to him. He is survived by companion, Brianne Ryan and their son, Logan of Stanley; one brother, Weldon Thomas of Royal Road; one sister, Kathryn Nason (Scott) of Kingsley; three step-sisters, Angela Rondeau (Ron) of Ontario, Lori Anderson (Glen) and Cherilyn Dew (Doug) both of British Columbia; paternal grandmother, Florence Thomas; maternal grandmother, Mary McGowan; step-grandfather, Howard Anderson; five nieces and nephews. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Friday from 6 to 9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2005 at 2 pm from the York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, Fredericton with Rev. John Jennings officiating and Pastor Dwight Munn assisting. Interment will be in the Seymour Memorial Cemetery at a later date. Pallbearers for the service are: Jonathan Brown, Bruce Brown, Darren White, Chris Anderson, Scott Mitchell and Nicky Brewer.
