BROWN, WILLIAM CHARLES 'BILL' Proud Veteran WWII RCOC & RCEME Peacefully at St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital on Thursday, February 10, 2005, Bill Brown (Brownie) age 83 after a brief but valiant stand against advancing illness. Survived by wife Margery Thompson and children Ken (Donna), Helen Hachey (Jim), Valerie Burgess (Jack) all of Kingston and Sheila Pennell (Doug) of Niagara-On-The-Lake, ON. Predeceased by wife Orpha Deyo and youngest daughter Elaine Marie. Survived by sister Hester Hobday, sister Doreen Whitehead and brother Ray all of New Brunswick. Always remembered by ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, friends and neighbors. Funeral arrangements in care of James Reid Funeral Home Cataraqui Chapel. In keeping with Bill's wishes, cremation will be immediate. Friends will be received at Christ Church Parish Centre (990 Sydenham Road, Kingston) Monday, February 14, 6-9 pm with Funeral Service at Christ Church Parish at 10:30 am Tuesday February 15, 2005. The Venerable Edward Dallow officiating. A reception will be held in Gibson Hall (Christ Church) following the funeral service. A private family service will be held at Cataraqui Cemetery. In lieu of flowers as expressions of sympathy memorial donations for those who wish may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Lung Association or Christ Church Parish Centre.
