DUNPHY, DORA MARGUERITE The death of Dora Marguerite Dunphy occurred on February 13, 2005 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital after a brief illness. Born in Keswick, 1920, wife of the late Earl C. Dunphy and daughter of the late William and Agnes ( Morris) Mann. A beloved mother, grandmother and sister. Survived by an only son Earl (Evelyn); two grandsons, Brent (Ellen) and Jeff (Lori); great-grandchildren Ryan, Christopher, Meghan, Sarah, Ashleigh and Justin; Step-granddaughters Jessica and Karah, plus several nieces and nephews. Two sisters, Betty Goddard and Peggy Irving (Ralph); two brothers, Jim Mann (Mavis) of Port Hope, ON and Donald Mann of Keswick, NB. Dora was predeceased by a sister and brother-in-law, Grace and Fraser Jewett; brother-in-law Clarence Goddard and a sister-in-law Annie Mann. Dora and her husband Earl were the Founders of Dunphy's Poultry Farm Ltd. She remained active in the business until May 2004. Dora was affiliated with the United Church of Canada. A Funeral Service will be held at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Wednesday, February 16th, 2005 at 1 pm with Pastor Jonathan McKay officiating and Pastor Ralph Irving assisting. Pallbearers will be grandsons Brent and Jeff Dunphy; great grandsons Ryan and Christopher Dunphy; and Rodney Martin and Tim Brewster. Burial will be at the Keswick Cemetery, following the reception.
