MERRILL, MABEL DORIS At Nashwaak Villa, Stanley, on February 23rd, 2005 Mabel Doris Merrill, age 96 of Green Hill, NB passed away. Born in Maple Grove, NB, she was a daughter of the late Stephen and Almeda (Donalds) Donnelly, and wife of the late Arthur Benjamin Merrill. She was a member of the Hillcrest United Church, Stanley and a life member of the U.C.W. and the W.I. She was a member of the United Church Choir in Green Hill. Surviving are 5 daughters Greta Thomas and her husband Wilbur of Stanley, Mavis Gallagher and her husband Thurston of Taymouth, Alice Carson and her husband Thomas of Boiestown, Shirley Faulkenham and her husband Elwood of Halifax, Lottie Munn and her husband Allan of Stanley; one son Ernest Merrill and his wife Marie of Williamsburg; one sister Mary Bavis of Fredericton; daughter-in-law Annie Merrill of Cross Creek; 29 grandchildren; 63 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one son Russell; one sister Alice McPhee; son-in-law Irvine. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton with visitation Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Bishop's Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday February 26, 2005 at 2:00 pm with Rev. Murray McFarlane officiating. Interment will be held at a later date. Memorials for those who wish may be made to the Nashwaak Villa, Stanley. Honorary Pallbearers with be Wayne Thomas, Brian Merrill, Arthur Merrill, Travis Munn, Mac Carson and Joe Faulkenham.
