NEW GLASGOW – Robert David “Bob” Petroff, 44, New Glasgow, formerly of Trenton, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2008, at home. Born in Toronto, Ont., he was a son of James and Mary Agnes (Poirier) Petroff, Trenton. Robert was a talented musician and was instrumental in creation of the “Localmotion” CDs. Surviving besides his parents, are daughters, Carrie (Matt) and Laura (Robert), Bible Hill; sons: Kyle, Jeffrey, Bobby and Jonathan, Trenton; mother of his children, Donna, Trenton; sisters: Kim (Stephen), Trenton; Lori and Jovita, Ontario; brothers, Danny (Loretta) and Norman, Ontario; paternal grandmother, Laura, Glen Haven Manor, New Glasgow; grandson, Nathan; nieces, Alicia and Kayla; nephew, Devin; several other nieces and nephews; chosen brother, Tommy (Lisa), Calgary, Alta. He was predeceased by sister, Brenda Lee, in infancy. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive visitors 7-9 p.m. Wednesday in P. & K. MacDonald Funeral Home, New Glasgow where a memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday in the chapel with Rev. Dr. Glen Matheson officiating.
