ROBERTA MADELINE SHARP

SHARP, ROBERTA MADELINE Roberta M. Sharp, wife of Norman F. Sharp of Nortondale passed away April 1, 2005 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born at Southampton in 1929, she was a daughter of the late Phillip and Beatrice (Corey) Grant. Roberta was well known for her talent of quilt making. She was a member of the Forever Young Seniors Club in Woodstock and donated quilts for the club's fundraising events. Roberta is survived by her husband; a daughter, Norma Winona Hastewell and husband Kemp, Invermere, BC; a son, Beverly A. Sharp, Nortondale; a granddaughter, Pam Hastewell, Calgary, AB; five sisters, Anna Grant, Pembroke, Cora Hoyt, Springfield, York County, Iris Thornton, Orillia, ON, Blanche Clark, Lr. Brighton and Nellie Kinney and husband Emery, Presque Isle, ME; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Faye in 1981, a son Frederick in 1991 and three brothers, William, Thomas and Bertram Grant. Resting at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic with visiting hours on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be held from the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Wayne Blinn officiating. Interment will follow in Temperance Vale Cemetery.
