MACKAY, E.H. (R.N) Eileen Helen Mackay (RN) passed away after a hearty struggle against Parkinsons Disease on April 2, 2005 at the Oromocto Public Hospital. Born in Alymer Ontario on February 8, 1932 to Leonard and Pearl Addley, she was the wife of Major D.S. (Sam) MacKay (Retd) of Burton, New Brunswick. Eileen served in the RCAF and later nursed in the Extended Care Unit of the Oromocto Public Hospital. Survived by her husband Sam and her daughters Kathy MacKay (Brian Aldridge) and Kelly MacKay-Lachevrotiere (Andre Lachevrotiere); sisters Donna Armshaw (Allen) of London, Ontario, Marg Layton (Bill) of Woodstock, Ontario and Pat Pyatt (Jim) of Port Colborne, Ontario; brothers Len Addley (Phyllis) of North Bay, Ontario and Grant Addley of Alymer, Ontario; four grandchildren James Shrubb, Scott Shrubb, Oneida Aldridge and Noah MacKay-Lachevrotiere. She was predeceased by her parents and her sister Ruby. There will be no visitation and a memorial service will be held on Monday, April 4, 2005 at 3:00 pm at the Pine Grove United Church in Burton, NB with Rev. Margie Patterson officiating with Rev. Bob Jones assisting. A brief reception with family at the Burton Lions Club. Interment at the Pine Grove Cemetery will follow at a later date.
