HOSSACK, ALVARETTA "ALLIE" MARGARET The death of Alvaretta "Allie" Margaret Hossack, wife of the late L. Arthur Hossack, of Fredericton, NB occurred on May 2, 2005 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Hartland, NB on June 11, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Tom and Edna (Richardson) Stockford. Allie was a clerk at Fit Rite Shoe Store. She was involved with the Saint John Ambulance, Lionettes, Soup Kitchen, Meals on Wheels, Hospital Auxiliary, Legion Auxiliary and was a Volunteer for York Manor. Allie loved camping at Nelson Hollow in the summer and spending time with her friends and family. She served in World War II as a driver. Allie is survived by her son Dale Hossack (Diane) of Fredericton, NB; grandson Troy; granddaughter Michelle Burton (Richard) of Woodstock, NB; great-grandson Xander Burton; and special nieces, nephews and friends. Besides her parents and husband, she is predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, May 6th, 2005 at 2 pm from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel with Rev. Kimberly Barlow officiating. Pallbearers are Edith Flynn, Barb Wilkins, Carol Gorley, Sherrie Evans, Dorothy Billings and Georgie Anne Wilkins. Interment will take place at Douglas Rural Cemetery.
