WYRWAS, FREDERICK "ROD" RODERICK The Death of Frederick "Rod" Roderick Wyrwas of Fredericton, husband of Catherine (Cameron) Wyrwas occurred on Sunday, May 08, 2005 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital, Fredericton, NB. Born in Iverness, NS, he was the son of the late Alexander Wyrwas and Cassie (Fraser) Timmons. Rod loved his family and grandkids. Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Dianne (Danny) Gilbert of Greenhill Lake, NB, Joyce (Fintan St. Croix) Wyrwas of Fredericton and Kathy (Rodney) Hawkins of Kansas City, Kansas; two sons, Bruce (Kathy) Wyrwas of Penniac and John (Tammy) Wyrwas of Greenhill Lake, NB; 11 grandchildren; one greatgrandson; one sister, Josephine Covin of Sydney, NS; a step-sister, Doreen LeBlanc of Beddeck, NS and a stepbrother, Claude (Liz) Timmons of Port Hawkesbury, NS; a special niece Charlotte (Joey) Marchand and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by an infant son, Gerald; and two sisters, Kathleen David and Mary "Tootsie" Poirier. Although there will be no visitation, a Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at 3 pm from the York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB with Rev. Mac Campbell officiating. Interment will be in the Alexander Gibson Memorial Cemetery.
