ANDR AVELLIN ALBERT
ALBERT, ANDR AVELLIN André Avellin Albert (19242005), husband of Thérèse (Robichaud) Albert of Rexton, NB, passed away at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital, Moncton, Monday, May 16, 2005, after a determined battle with cancer. Born in Caraquet, NB, he was 80 years. He was the son of the late Edgar Albert and Eva (Lanteigne) Albert. After serving in Europe in WWII he earned a degree in Civil Engineering at McGill and UN. He worked for the NB Department of Transportation and several Irving Companies. Later, he established several family run businesses in the Road Construction, Lumber, and cranberry cultivation sectors, all in Rexton, NB. Survived by his wife Thérèse, one daughter Jocelyne, three sons André (Sandy), Maurice (Kim) and David (Shirley), one sister Lydwine Chaisson, Bathurst, one brother Auguste Albert, Caraquet, nine grandchildren. Resting at Thompson's Funeral Home, Richibucto. Visitation will be held on Tuesday 2-4, 7-9 and Wednesday 24 and 6:00 p.m. until time of funeral. Funeral mass will be at St. Antoine de Padoue RC Church, Richibucto-Village, NB on Wednesday, May 18, 2005 at 7 p.m. Interment in Parish Cemetery.In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Diabetes or Cancer Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
