Sharon Melva Macnutt

Sharon Melva MacNutt, 59 of Balmoral Road, East Earltown, passed away Sunday, June 15, 2008, in Colchester Regional Hospital, Truro. Born in Mooseland and raised in Kennetcook, she was the daughter of Edith Messervey, Truro, and the late Reginald Lattie. Sharon worked in the local area doing housework for neighbours as well as working at Spiddle Hill Farm making jams, jellies and baked goods for the farmer’s market. She liked going to exhibitions and travelling around to see family and friends. Surviving is her loving husband of 39 years, James W. MacNutt; son, Jimmie and wife Bonnie, Earltown; daughter, Susan Dempster and husband, Patrick, Nuttby; granddaughter, Grace Dempster; brothers: Emery Lattie (Valerie), Larry Lattie (Carol), Ervin Lattie (Darlene), Allan Lattie (Nancy), all of Truro; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by son, Wendell; and brother, Kenny Glawson. Visitation will be 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in Coulter’s Funeral Home, (657-3288) 48 Riverside Dr., Tatamagouche, N.S., B0K 1V0. Funeral services will be held from Coulter’s Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, Rev. Donald Sutherland officiating. Interment will be in Earltown Village Cemetery. Family flowers only.
