HAINES, HELEN JEAN Helen Jean Haines, wife of Harry Haines, of Fredericton, NB, passed away surrounded by her family on May 30, 2005 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Keswick Ridge, NB on April 19, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Helen (Christie) Griffiths. In addition to her husband Harry, she is survived by two daughters, Sandra (Bob) Brewer of Burtt's Corner, NB and Audrey Haines of Sundre, AB; two grandchildren, Robert (Margo) Brewer and Heidi (Patrick) Thebeau; six greatgrandchildren, Whitney Brewer, Victoria Brewer, Timothy Thebeau, Gregory Thebeau, Joshua Thebeau and Andrew Thebeau; four sisters, Greta Cummings, Marion Vincent, Shirley Carnahan and Dorothy (Ed) Combes; two sister-in-laws, Ruby Merrill and Alberta Dunphy; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, she is predeceased by one brother Don Griffiths and three brother-in-laws; Erlon Vincent, Hayward Cummings and William Carnahan. Visitation will take place on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2005 at 2 pm from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel with Rev. Geoff Conley officiating and Rev. Merle Zimmerman assisting. Interment will take place at Dorn Ridge Community Cemetery, Dorn Ridge, NB. In lieu of flowers, remembrances made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, the Diabetes Association or the Scholarship Fund at the Fredericton Church of Christ or to the charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
