LUSHER, ARLEENE MARIE 86 of Melville Lodge, Halifax, passed away peacefully Thursday, June 30, 2005 in the New Halifax Infirmary QEII. Born August 2, 1918 in Halifax, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Edith (Kidd) Barratt. Arleene was a lifelong member of the Girl Guides of Canada and a member of the IODE. Arleene was the last surviving member of her immediate family and is survived by her daughter, Heather, Halifax. She was predeceased by her husband, Walter. Arrangements have been entrusted to Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main Street, Dartmouth, where the funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday. Rev. Carolyn Tomlin officiating. Interment in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. Reception to follow in Atlantic Funeral Home Family Reception Centre.
