MCCANN, GARY Gary McCann of Oromocto formerly of Fredericton Junction passed away at the Oromocto Public Hospital, after a struggle with cancer, on July 14, 2005 at the age of 58. Gary is survived by his wife Laurette (Bell) McCann, one son Shawn McCann (Michele) of Fredericton, step-son Darren Bell, three brothers Lloyd and Suzanne, Vincent and Eleanor and Murray and Francine all of Hoyt, two grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Gary was employed as a Driver - Civil Service Base Gagetown and was a member of the Gladstone Curling Club and the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #55. Gary was inducted into the Softball Hall of Fame. He is predeceased by his parents Marjorie (Murray) and Arnold McCann. Relatives and friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home for visitation on Saturday, July 16, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be from St. Columba Catholic Church on Tuesday, July 19, 2005 at 11 a.m. with Father Ken Weir and Father Ralph McRae officiating.
