MURRAY, LLOYD GORDON Lloyd Gordon Murray, 80, of Chipman, NB passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2005 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital after a lengthy illness, the son of the late Edward and Pearl (Bishop) Murray. He was retired from N.B. Coal, a member of Chipman Orange Lodge and loved working with horses as a blacksmith. He volunteered for meals on wheels and was a member of the Chipman Garden Club. He was an avid outdoorsman, loved his fishing and hunting and was a moose hunting guide for many years. He is survived by his wife, Daisy (Robinson) Murray; daughter, Mary (Merle) Pelletier of Plaster Rock; son, Larry Gordon (Marie) of Fall River, N.S; Robert Lloyd (Denise) of Cornwall, ON; daughter, Shelley Roy (Rodney) Richardson, of Chipman; his sisters, Blanche (Stanley) Dickson, Edna (Clifford) Pollock, Connie Webber, Doreen (Brant) Haddon, Elsie Wilson, Anna Clarke, brother, Raye (Donna) Murray, all of the Chipman area; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, all who will miss him dearly. He was predeceased by sons, Cory and Glendon; sisters, Grace Cassidy and Joan Johnston and brother, Daryl Murray. Resting at the Chipman Funeral Home (339-6612) until Tuesday when funeral service will be held from Chipman United Church at 2:00 pm. with Rev. Jim Postlethwaite officiating. Interment in the Red Bank United Church Cemetery. The family will receive visitors at the funeral home from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. on Monday. In lieu of flowers donations to the Chipman United Church or the Red Bank Cemetery Fund would be appreciated by the family. Orange Lodge Service will be held at 6:45 pm. at the funeral home on Monday.
