WHITE, GWENDOLYN The death of Gwendolyn White, wife of Robert "Bub" White, of Fredericton, NB, formerly of Napadogan, NB, occurred on August 9, 2005 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Napadogan, NB on May 21, 1921, she was a daughter of the late John and Delvina (Fournier) Dalton. Gwendolyn was a member of the CWL in Stanley, and of the Royal Canadian Legion Auxiliary, Branch # 67. She was an avid cook, who never let anyone leave the house without having something to eat. Her greatest joy was her four grandchildren. Besides her husband of 65 years, she is survived by two sons, Robert "Sonny" White of Fredericton, NB and Eric White (Gayle) of New Maryland, NB; one daughter, Cindy Manzer (Fraser) of Fredericton, NB; four grandchildren, Erika Creally (Jason) of Ottawa, ON, Jason White of New Maryland, NB, Holly and Justin Manzer of Fredericton, NB; one sister, Audrey Sansom of Moncton, NB; sister-in-law, Betty Dalton of Doaktown, NB and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by an infant daughter, Carolyn; two brothers, Cleo and Byron; and two sisters, Marjorie Comeau and Katherine Richard. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 12th, 2005 at 11 am from St. Anthony's Roman Catholic Church, Fredericton, NB with Father Monte Peters officiating. Interment will take place at St. Patrick's Cemetery, Stanley, NB.
