PRICE, DONNA JANE Donna Jane Price - Lantz, passed away on August 11, 2005, in The Q.E. II V.G. site, Palliative Care Unit, Halifax, following a lengthy battle with cancer and several other chronic diseases. Born at Carroll's Crossing, New Brunswick, on March 14, 1948, she was the oldest daughter of Mary P. Lyons, Carroll's Crossing; and the late Bernard W. (Bun) Lyons. Educated at Doaktown Consolidated High School; her interests broadened to travel and French. She enjoyed the computer, reading and gardening. Due to ill health, she retired from the position of Atlantic Section Head, Compensation and Benefits, Canada Post Corporation. She was a faithful member of Corridor Community Church, Lantz. Donna's greatest accomplishment in life was being a loving wife, mom and "Nan" to husband, Vaughn E.; daughter Lori Lee (Jean Pierre) Millette; grandson, Alexander James "Dude" Millette; granddaughter, Emilie Jane "Emmy Jane" Millette, all of Lantz; sisters, Glennora P. (Murray) Wilson, Trenna Susan Lyons, both of Fredericton; brothers, Bernard D. (Rosalie), Boiestown, New Brunswick; Herbert T. (Shayne), Bruce J.N. (Bonnie) Lyons, both of Fredericton. Cremation has taken place. Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. on Saturday, August 20, followed by funeral service at 11 a.m., both in Corridor Community Church, Pastor Ron Coole officiating. A reception will be held downstairs at the church immediately following the service. No flowers by request. Donations may be made to Corridor Community Church - Appliance Fund. The family wish to say thank you to their many friends who have helped out; the VON; Home Care Workers; Doctors and Nurses of the Palliative Care Unit at the V.G. Hospital.
