(October 13, 1916 - June 15, 2008). Passed peacefully away at St. Patrick's Mercy Home on Sunday, June 15th, 2008, after a brief struggle following a broken hip, Rosanna Martin of Dildo, aged 91 years; wife of the late Walter Martin. Also predeceased by brothers: Clarence, Ralph, Corbett, and Charles, and sisters: Rita and Elizabeth. Rosanna was the loving mother of Shirley (Ed) Bailey, Gander, Willis (Linda) Martin, St. John's, Hilda (Rick) Decker, Sydney River, N.S., Eileen (Clark) Golema, Dunedin, Florida, and Charles (Theresa) Martin, Dildo. She was also the loving grandmother of 14 grandchildren: Sharon, Sheila, Shelly, Lisa, Vickie, Cheryl Lynn, Sandra, Jacqueline, Monique, Ann, Karen, Wanda, Craig and Debbie; and 17 great grandchildren; her sisters: Jenny and Hilda, and brother, Howard. Also leaving to mourn a large number of family and friends, especially long time friend Doris Newhook. Resting at Warren's Funeral Home, Dildo, with visitation on Tuesday, June 17th from 2:00 - 5:00 pm and from 7:00 - 9:00 pm and on Wednesday, June 18th, from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon. The funeral service will be held from All Saints Anglican Church, Dildo on Wednesday, June 18th at 2:00 pm. Interment to follow at All Saints' Anglican Cemetery.
