PRICE, ELVA REBECCA Elva R. Price of Hanwell Special Care Home and formerly of Middle Southampton, widow of C. Archie Price, passed away September 4, 2005 at Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Elva was born at Campbell Settlement in 1917, a daughter of the late Helard and Martha (Schriver) Stairs. She is survived by a daughter, June Champion (Donald), Malpeqe, PEI; two brothers, Eldridge Stairs (Marjorie), Fredericton and Harold Stairs (Shirley), Burtts Corner; four daughters-in-law, Dorothy Price, Charlottetown, PEI, June Price, Prince William, Doris Price, Southampton and Deborah Price, Fredericton; fourteen grandchildren; twenty one great grandchildren; also great great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Elva was predeceased by her husband in 2000; four sons, Merton, Frederick, Gary and Wayne; a granddaughter, Rebecca Price; two sisters, Velma Peterson and Laura Dunlop and two brothers, George and Dowie Stairs. Resting at Flewelling Funeral Home, 585 Otis Drive, Nackawic where funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2005 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Ralph Irving officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until the hour of service. Interment will be in Lenentine Cemetery.
