Tremblay Irene Mary (nee Irena Niezgoda) of Moose Jaw. On Friday, March 21st, 2008, with family by her side, Irene passed away peacefully after a courageous fight with illness. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Jean-Guy (1978), her parents Stanislaw and Aniela Niezgoda and brother Steve. Loving mother of six children, Jerome Tremblay (Cindy), Odette Tremblay (Claude), Joanne Pelletier (Frank), Angela Davey (Blaine), Xavier Tremblay (Jocelyn) and Marie-Jeanne Shivak (Leon). Her memory will be cherished by her grandchildren Crystal, Celeste, Candice, Chantel, Jennifer, Terrence, Melanie, Desiree, Malinda, Stephanie, Joshua, Jonathan, Andrew, Justin, Janessa, Zachary, Talayna, Cassi, Zoe, Alyssa, Amber and by her great-granddaughters, Tasia, Kaia and Jada. Irene will also be missed by her sisters Joan Rynkun (Ted), Henrietta Smith (Late George) and Kay Fulmer (Don) and by her sister-in-law Jean (Steve) and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Irene was born in Lublin, Poland and immigrated to Fosston, Saskatchewan with her parents in 1929 at the age of 4. Irene then moved to Regina with her sister Henrietta to attend the Provincial Normal School for teachers. Irene moved to Courval, Saskatchewan where she passionately taught school for many years. There she met and married Jean-Guy. Irene worked wholeheartedly on the farm with Jean-Guy and continued to passionately raise their six children after his sudden passing in 1978. In 1987 she moved to Moose Jaw, studied real estate and became a successful and enthusiastic Century 21 Aaim Realty Sales Consultant. Irene's passion was always family first, unconditionally loving and caring for them so very dearly. Her many loves were her faith, friends, outdoor gardening, bird watching, playing the organ, cooking, sewing, knitting, creative crafts and art and making special gifts for her family. She was also very prominent in the community by singing in the St. Joseph's Choir and at numerous church services, volunteering as the Secretary of the Providence Place Auxiliary and spending numerous hours in their gift shop in Moose Jaw. She is also acknowledged for her longtime membership on the CWL. Irene will be so very dearly missed by her family who will love and cherish her forever and thank her for the irreplaceable joyful memories. All are invited to a Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church 1064 - 3rd Ave. N.W. in Moose Jaw on Wednesday, March 26, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. A private family interment will take place at Courval Cemetery.
