GERTRUDE (MOORE) GILMORE
GILMORE, GERTRUDE (MOORE) The death of Gertrude (Moore) Gilmore wife of the late Percival Gilmore occurred on Saturday October 8, 2005 at Reta's Special Care Home in Burton, NB. Born in Penniac, NB she was the daughter of the late George and Clara (Hamilton) Moore. Gertrude attended the First Congregational Church in Fredericton, NB and was a lifetime member of the U.C.W. Gertrude was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Gertrude is survived by two daughters: Helen Gilmore and Ann (Dick) Hetherington both of Fredericton NB; three sons: Harry Gilmore, Paul (Constance) Gilmore both of Fredericton, NB and John (Catherine) Gilmore of Royal Road, NB; eight grandchildren: Andrew, Garth, Kirk, Jennifer, and Kelly Gilmore, Tammy Albers, Jaclyn Hetherington, and Dawne Leger; five great grandchildren: Chelsea and Mitchell Gilmore, Noah Albers, Emma and Billy Leger; special sister-in-law Helen (Moore) Wilcox, and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband Gertrude was predeceased by infant twins a son and daughter, two sisters Effie Wilson and Fern Moore; three brothers Arthur, Theodore, and Raymond and one daughter-in-law Elizabeth (Toon) Gilmore. Visitation will take place at York Funeral Home 302 Brookside Drive Fredericton NB on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held at York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Tuesday October 11, 2005 at 2 p.m. with Rev. Dr. Bradley Little officiating. Grandchildren will be pallbearers. Internment will take place in the Douglas Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Congregational Church Building Fund or to a charity of the donor's choice.
