HANSEN, LAWRENCE MELVIN The death of Lawrence M. Hansen formerly of New Maryland, NB occurred at York Manor Nursing Home on Thursday, October 13th, 2005. Born in Bluebell, NB, he was the son of the late Carl and Amilie (Christensen) Hansen and husband of Beatrice P. (McCloskey) Hansen. Lawrence was a member of Grace Memorial Baptist Church, where he was a Deacon, severed on the Board of Trustees for many years and was active in many church activities. He was well known mechanic having worked for Wood Motors for many years. Lawrence is survived by his wife, Beatrice (McCloskey); son, Phillip (Marie) of Fredericton, NB; grandchildren, Jennifer, Matthew (Beth), Jonathan and Kirsten Hansen; five great grandchildren and his sister, Winefred Sabine of Andover, NB. Visitation will be held at McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home on Friday, October 14th, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Grace Memorial Baptist Church on Saturday, October 15th, 2005 at 2:00 pm. Rev. Doug Hapeman officiating. Interment will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery.
