ARNOLD WILMOT BALL
BALL, ARNOLD WILMOT Arnold Wilmot Ball passed away peacefully at York Manor, Fredericton, NB after a lengthy illness. Born on March 5, 1925, he is survived by his three daughters, Nancy Flinn (Walter), Carol Noble (Douglas) and Penny Farrell (Garth) all of Rusagonis, NB; his son, John of Surrey, BC; the mother of his children, June (Morgan) Godin of Fredericton, NB; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents George E. and C. Grace Ball; two brothers, George and Thomas and one sister Ruth (Harry) Arnold. Before his illness, he co-owned and operated Ball Draperies in New Maryland. He was Past President and life member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 4, Fredericton. There will be no visitation by request. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 21, 2005 at 1:00 pm from J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel with Peter G. Somerville Director of Pastoral Care York Manor officiating. Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 4 will hold tribute service on Friday at 1:00 pm. Private interment will take place in the United Church Cemetery, New Maryland, NB. Arrangements are in the care of McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the New Maryland United Church, the Alzheimer Society or charity of the donor's choice. www.mcadamsfh.com
