BALL, ARNOLD WILMOT Arnold Wilmot Ball passed away peacefully at York Manor, Fredericton, NB after a lengthy illness. Born on March 5, 1925, he is survived by his three daughters, Nancy Flinn (Walter), Carol Noble (Douglas) and Penny Farrell (Garth) all of Rusagonis, NB; his son, John of Surrey, BC; the mother of his children, June (Morgan) Godin of Fredericton, NB; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents George E. and C. Grace Ball; two brothers, George and Thomas and one sister Ruth (Harry) Arnold. Before his illness, he co-owned and operated Ball Draperies in New Maryland. He was Past President and life member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 4, Fredericton. There will be no visitation by request. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 21, 2005 at 1:00 pm from J. A. McAdam Memorial Chapel with Peter G. Somerville Director of Pastoral Care York Manor officiating. Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 4 will hold tribute service on Friday at 1:00 pm. Private interment will take place in the United Church Cemetery, New Maryland, NB. Arrangements are in the care of McAdam's Select Community Funeral Home.
