MARY ANN MARTIN
MARTIN, MARY ANN Mary Ann Martin of Harvey passed away October 19, 2005 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born on Prince Edward Island in 1925, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Isabelle (Arsenault) Luke. Mary devoted her life to raising and caring for her family and was a faithful member of Immaculate Conception CatholicChurch. Mary is survived by six daughters, Rhea Frost (Calvin), Lincoln, Leona LeBlanc, Moncton, Shirley Shannon (Mike), St. Stephen, Barbara Jones (Dale), Moncton, Marlene Hogan (Charles), Fredericton, Sandra Storey (Sean), Doaktown; four sons, Robert Jones, Joey Jones (Ann Marie), Paul Jones (Barb) and John Jones, all of Harvey; five sisters, Sadie MacLean, Lincoln, Mildred Heatherington, Helen Harris (Keith), Dorothy Little (Merlin), Rose Nason (Vernon), all of Tracy; five brothers, Francis Luke (Jessie), Pennsylvania, Raymond Luke (Bea), Tracy, James Luke, Alberta, Cecil Luke, Fredericton and Ronald Luke (Diane), Prince Edward Island; eighteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband, Ralph Jones, her second husband, Robert Martin, a daughter, Cathy Jones and a sister, Margaret MacDonald. Resting at her home, 162 Hurley Road, Harvey with visiting hours Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Cork on Saturday, October 22, 2005 at 11 a.m. by Father Bonaventure Annan. Interment will take place in Cork Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be Bernie McCann, Calvin Frost and Lynn MacDonald. Pallbearers will be grandchildren, Brandon Jones, Danny Frost, Melissa Jones, Joshua Jones, Luke Shannon and Andrew Hogan. For those who wish to make a donation in memory of Mary, the family has suggested the Arthritis Society or the Diabetes Association.
