TURNER, DOLDENA (1909-2005) The death of Doldena Turner, wife of the late Dr. Cecil H. Turner occurred on Sunday, November 13, 2005 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Dolly was born in New York City but lived her early years in Pictou County, NS. She was the daughter of Alexander and Margaret (Morrison) Sutherland and in addition to her late husband she was predeceased by her sister, Jeanette Russell (the late Rev. Dr. George); one brother, William and her first husband, Rev. Myron Oliver. Dolly was a faithful member of Saint Paul's United Church and is remembered for her devoted choir work over many years. She will be dearly missed by her immediate family, Ann Gale (Frank) and Sadie Miller (J. Reginald) all of Fredericton; her special friend, Annie Williams along with several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Respecting the request of the deceased, there will be no visitation. A private family committal service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of McAdams Select Community Funeral Home.
