TYLER, LENETTA VIVIAN (HOLMES) Lenetta Vivian Tyler (Holmes) Dartmouth, NS formerly of Lakeville Corner, N.B. passed away 3 Dec 2005 in the Dartmouth General Hospital at the age of 97. Lenetta is the daughter of the late Julia Jane (Hudlin) Holmes and the late Hedley Hiran Holmes of Lakeville Corner, N.B. She is survived by daughters Marjorie Nash (Parker) Salmon Creek N.B., Beulah Palmer, Lakeville Corner N.B., Deloros Tolliver (George) Dartmouth NS, sons Melvin (Madeline), Minto, N.B., Raymond (Ruth) Chambly Quebec, 26 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, seven great great grandchildren, two step grandchildren, two step great grandchildren. Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Arthur Seymour Tyler, three sons Louis, Ronald and Victor; brother Bertram, sister Laura; five grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She was a member of the United Baptist Church, Lakeville Corner N.B. During her lifetime she was active in the Lakeville Corner Baptist Church, and the United Baptist Convention of the Atlantic Provinces, Some of her activities in the Baptist Church and Convention included 15 years of perfect attendance at Sunday School, Sunday School teacher, Mission Band Leader, Church Janitor, Executive of the United Baptist Woman's Missionary Union (UBWMU), Reading Course Secretary (UBWMU), Church Representative for Green Hill Lake Youth Camp, President of the Lynn Stairs Woman's Missionary Society (WMS), President of (Queens- Sunbury) WMS Association, a founding member of the Ladies Retreat Green Hill Lake Camp. President of the Ladies Auxiliary, Carleton & York Association and earlier in life a school teacher. Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 7th, 2005 in the United Baptist Church of Minto with Pastor James Webber officiating assisted by Pastor Kaj Binderup. Visitation at the Minto Funeral Home, Minto N.B. Tues 6 Dec 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9. Burial at the Newcastle Creek Cemetery Extension. Reception to follow in the United Baptist Church of Minto. Memorials can be sent to Green Hill Lake Camp, 40 Greenhill Lake Road, Greenhill Lake, N.B. E6E 1E7 or Lakeville Corner United Baptist Church, c/o Marion Hunter, Treasurer, United Baptist Church, 219 Scotchtown Road, Scotchtown, N.B. E4B 1W6. She enjoyed fancy work, gardening, reading and memorizing Scripture. Always a loving mother and friend, She will be greatly missed.
