VANDOORSELAERE, ARTHUR The death of Arthur VanDoorselaere of Minto, NB occurred Friday December 9th, 2005 as a result of a motor vehicle accident. Born in Minto, NB he was the son of the late Charles and Zelia (Hersin) VanDoorselaere. Survived by a son Kevin VanDoorselaere of Fredericton; two daughters, Gloria Chase (Mike) of Moncton, NB and Elizabeth (Betty) Slote (Donald) of Arthur, ON; a good friend Jerry Daken; brothers Simon, Stanley, Frank, Louie and Amile; sisters Marguerite (Maggie) and Mary; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parent Arthur was predeceased by his wife Bernice (Brun) VanDoorselaere in 1992; several brothers and sisters. Resting at the Minto Funeral Home 327-3490 with visiting on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM Tuesday, December 13th, 2005 from the Holy Rosary Catholic Church with Father M. Trzop officating. Interment will take place in St. Bridgit's Cemetery, Hardwood Ridge, NB. For those who wish donations made to the New Brunswick Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family. All comrades are invited to attend a Legion tribute service at the Funeral Home Monday evening at 7 pm.
