EDWARDS, E. MARGERY (SMITH) Margery, widow of the late James A. Edwards, passed away on December 15th,2005 at York Manor Nursing Home, Fredericton, NB, at the age of 102. Born 1903 in England, she has lived in Canada since 1947. "For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him Those who have fallen asleep in Jesus." After a long and interesting life, she had grown weary and lately had wished to "be with her Lord". A true Child of God, Margery was a devout Christian. Baptized in the Anglican faith, later in her life she was again baptized into the Wide World Church of God. Along with her late husband, Eddie, they enjoyed 56 years of Marriage and the spreading of the Lessons. As a homemaker her family was blessed. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She will be lovingly remembered and missed by her life-long friend and daughter-in-law, Maryellen Smith (Lionel); her grandson, Barrie Smith and his wife Mae; two great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren; good friends Betty and Jim Noseworthy, Norma Hayward, Ferne and Darla Clark. Margery was predeceased by her beloved first husband, Dudley Smith in 1941; her second husband, Eddie in 2000 and her only child, Lionel Dudley Smith in 1995.
