He was a retired Warrant Officer having served in the Air Force for 31 years, being stationed in Greenwood, Nova Scotia; Summerside, PEI; Arnprior, Ontario and Ottawa, Ontario. son of the late George N. and Helen G. Harris (nee Manzer). Husband of Joanna Harris (nee Cawthra). Father and grandfather to Heather (Dana) Coulson, Caroline, Victoria, Thomas and Charlotte, Kensington; Karen (Simon) Bell, Isaac, Phoebe and Adelaide, Washington, DC; Donnie (Sandra) Harris, Virginia, Joanna and Heather, Kensington; Laurie (Tony) Zruna, Joshua, Katie and Ben, Cow Bay, Nova Scotia; George (Marie) Harris, Justin, Iain and Elizabeth, Ottawa, Ontario; Tim (Mary) Harris, Kensington; Danny (Beth) Harris, Julia and Colin, Trenton, Ontario and Jane (Martin) Tremblay, Thomas, Annie, Samuel and Caleb, Fredericton, New Brunswick. Brother to Clifford (Gertrude) Harris, Fredericton, New Brunswick and Brother-in-law to Edna (Doug) Murray. Dorothy (Ab) Miles and Mary (Donnie) MacLaggan all of New Brunswick. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a sister Margaret Cameron. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home Kensington for visitation on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Thursday in the Davison Funeral Home Chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment in People's Cemetery Kensington.
