COOKE, MURIEL GLADYS The death of Muriel G. Cooke of Burton, NB occurred at York Manor Nursing Home on Monday, January 2nd, 2006. Born on July 15th, 1925 in Montreal, PQ she was the daughter of the late Wilfred and Ethel (Payne) Deslauriers and wife of Edward Cooke. Muriel is survived by her husband, Edward; son, Ron (Nora) of Saint John, NB; daughter, Linda Currie (Dale) of Hinton, AB; grandchildren, Jennifer Fancey (Jason) of Alberta and Jason Currie of Fredericton as well as her great-grandson, Brandon of Alberta. She was predeceased by her parents and by her son, Robert. Visitation will be held at Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Wednesday, January 4th, 2006 from 7-9 pm. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, January 5th, 2006 at 3:00 pm at the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ken Weir officiating. Interment will take place in St. Vincent de Paul cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society. www.oromoctofh.com
