- Katherine (Heidt) With sad hearts we announce the passing of our dear Katherine with her family by her side at the age of 98. Formerly of Mankota up until her passing resided at Extendicare in Moose Jaw. Katie was predeceased by her oldest daughter Angelina, her husband Casper and her son Bernard. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Ray) Colenutt and their children, daughter-in-law Irene Bechal, son-in-law Roy (Sylvia) Fahlman and families, brother Valentine (Laura) Heidt and their families, sister Phyllis Schervevitch and families. Katie had ten grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. PRAYER SERVICE will be held Friday, May 9, 2008 at 7:00 pm and FUNERAL MASS will be celebrated Saturday, May 10, 2008 at 1:00 pm, both services held in St. Albert's Roman Catholic Church in Mankota, SK. The family would like to take this time to THANK all the staff at Extendicare in Moose Jaw for all their EXCELLENT compassionate loving care they gave to Katie.
