O'REE, DOUGLAS LELAND The death of Douglas O'Ree of Fredericton, NB occurred on Thursday, January 5th, 2006 at his home. Born in Barker's Point, NB on November 24th, 1941, he was the son of the late Richard and Geraldine (Straughn) O'Ree. Survived by daughters Diedra Browne (Shan) of Seattle, Tamecah O'Ree of Philadelphia; brothers, Laval (Carol) of Torbay, NL, Stephen of Fredericton; sisters Geri O'Ree-Hudlin (David) of Mactaquac, NB, Linda O'Ree-Hudlin (James) of Oshawa, ON, as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents and sister Rona Hudlin. In abiding by the request of the late Mr. O'Ree there will be no visitation. There will be a family funeral service from the J.A. McAdam Memorial Chapel. Memorial donations may be made to the NB Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a charity of one's choice.
