MacLEOD, ALBERT FENTON The death of Albert Fenton MacLeod, husband of the late Hattie (Baillie) of New Glasgow, NS, occurred peacefully with his great niece by his side on Sunday, January 8, 2006 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born in Caribou River, Pictou, Co. NS, he was the son of the late James A. and Maude (MacNaughton) MacLeod. Uncle Albert was a member of the Albion Masonic Lodge and the Order of the Eastern Star. Uncle Albert is survived by one sister, Marion Stevenson of Truro, NS, special nephew Tom MacLeod (Eleanor) of Fredericton, several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. he was predeceased by a brother, Gordon and a brother and sister in infancy. There will be no visitation by request. The Memorial Service will be held from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel on Tuesday, January 10, 2006 at 6pm with Rev. Brian MacDonald officiating. Memorial Service will be held at the St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, New Glasgow on Saturday at 2pm, with Rev. Richard Sands officiating and Rev. Glen Matheson assisting. His cremated remains will be buried in the spring at Heatherdale Memorial Gardens, Sylvester, NS.
