CHASE, EMERSON ABRAHAM The death of Emerson A. Chase of Upper Gagetown, NB occurred at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Friday, January 13th, 2006. Born on August 31st, 1919 in Coytown, NB, he was the son of the late George and Louise (Trifts) Chase and husband of Lillian H. (Wall) Chase. Emerson was a truck driver for many years, working his way up to a foreman for Sandi-Co before his retirement. He also loved to work in his garden, which he has kept up every year. He will be sadly missed by his wife, Lillian; son, George (Wanda Smith) of Upper Gagetown; daughters, Helen Allinson of Upper Gagetown and Phyllis Warren (Huxley) of Gagetown; sister, Doris McMonagle of Burton; eleven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren as well as several nieces, nephews and friends. Visitation will be held at Oromocto Select Community Funeral Home on Sunday, January 15th, 2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 16th, 2006 at 2:00 pm from the Oromocto Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Gerald Nickerson officiating.
