DORIS JOSEPHINE MESSER
MESSER, DORIS JOSEPHINE Doris J. Messer of Harvey Station passed away January 14, 2006 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital. Born at Acton, NB in 1927, she was a daughter of the late Norman and Bertha (Nason) Williams. Doris was a devoted wife, mother and friend who lived life to the fullest. Doris is survived by her husband William M. (Bill) Messer; two sons, Eddie Messer (Nola) and Laurie Messer (Cheryl) both of Harvey Station; four grandchildren, Keith Messer (Jolene), Fredericton, Nathan Messer, Slave Lake, Alberta, Lindy Little (Ryan), Harvey and Justin Messer (Kelsey), Fredericton; a sister-in-law, Hazel Donahue, Harvey Station; a brother-in-law, Alton Moffitt, Harvey Station; several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a granddaughter, Shannon, four sisters, Edith Williams, Kaye Hood, Pauline Little and Genevieve Moffitt and four brothers, Harold, Glendon, Stanley and Robert Williams. Visitation was held at Swan Funeral Home, Harvey Station, NB on Sunday. Funeral service will be held on Monday, January 16, 2006 at Knox Presbyterian Church, 2412 Route 3, Harvey, NB at 2 p.m. with Rev. Bonnie Wynn officiating. Interment will be later at Harvey Settlement Cemetery.
