SMITH, ROLAND FRASER At the Dr. Everett Chalmers Hospital on Thursday January 19, 2006 Roland Fraser Smith of Fredericton passed away at the age of 63. He was a son of the late John Glayne and Mary Aldine (Totten) Smith. Roland worked as an operator for NB Power at the Mactaquac Dam. He was a strong animal lover with great support to the SPCA and the World Wildlife Federation. He is survived by four sisters Phyllis Smith of Toronto, Linda Bunner (Brian) of New Hampshire, Pat Neilson (Jim) of Swan Creek, Ann Marie Plumadore (David) of Cambridge Narrows; three brothers Andrew Smith (Aline) of Charters Settlement, David Smith (Pat) of Hanwell, Jeffrey Smith of Fredericton; several nieces and nephews. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road with visitation Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A private funeral service will be held. Interment will be held at a later date.
