LAVIGNE, MARY HAZEL At the York Manor Nursing Home in Fredericton, on Thursday January 26, 2006, Mary Hazel Lavigne, formerly of Claudie Road, Fredericton passed away at the age of 91. Born in Bathurst, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Annie (Doucette) Lavigne and wife of the late Peter Joseph Lavigne. She enjoyed camping and blue grass music, but she was happiest when she was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by six sons Edward (Freda) of Kingsley, Cornelius (Dorothy) of Marysville, Elmer (Betty) of Claudie Road, Clifford (Dianne) of Kilarney Road, Ronald (Kathy) of Fredericton and Peter (Cherlyn) of Claudie Road; two daughters Cora Crouse (Roy) of Claudie Road, Evangeline Soucie (Jerome) of Moncton; one brother Martin Lavigne (Deliah) of Bathurst; one sister Theresa Boucher of Bathurst; 28 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She was also predeceased by daughters Corrine and Mary Bertha; brothers Cornelius and Aurele; sisters Bella and Lillian. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home 540 Woodstock Road Fredericton with visitation Friday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. A funeral mass will be held Saturday January 28, 2006 at 12:00 noon from St. Theresa's Church with Father John Jennings officiating. Interment will be held at St. Anthony's Cemetery in the spring.
