MacKAY, DORIS MARIE (GORDON) The passing of Doris Marie(Gordon) MacKay, of Keswick Ridge, N.B., wife of the late Frederick J MacKay, occurred at the Oromocto Public Hospital on Saturday February 4, 2006. Born February 12, 1917 in Keswick Ridge NB, she was the daughter of the late Dow and Celia (Lawrence) Gordon. Doris is survived by her three children; Barbara Murch (David) of Surrey, B.C., Dow MacKay (Ruth) of Fredericton, N.B., and Kathleen Hawkins (Lorne) of Keswick Ridge, N.B.; one sister, Leta Fowler of Fredericton, N.B.; seven grandchildren, Pamela DeLuca(Tony), Cynthia Lee(David), Natalie Brewer(Monroe), Mark MacKay(Connie), April Rosengren(Mike), Malcolm Hawkins(Deborah), and Timothy Hawkins(Patricia), great-grandchildren, Barbara DeLuca, Caitlyn Lee, Whitney, Nicholas, and Nathan Brewer, Michael Rosengren, Jayden Mosher, Benjamin, Nicholas and Christina Hawkins, and Mallory and Emily Hawkins, several nieces and nephews, as well as a special friend of the family, Rolla Atwin. Visitation will be held at York Funeral Home 302 Brookside Dr. Fredericton NB on Tuesday February 7,2006 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A funeral service will be on Wednesday at 2pm from York Funeral Home's T. Gordon MacLeod Memorial Chapel with Rev. Murray MacDonald officiating. Burial will take place in the Pickard Merrithew Cemetery.
