OLIVER, FREDERICK STEPHEN (STEVE) The passing of Frederick Stephen (Steve) Oliver, husband of Ruth A. Oliver, of Fredericton, NB, occurred on February 9, 2006 at the Dr. Everett Chalmers Regional Hospital. Born on March 2, 1930 in Montreal, PQ, he was a son of the late Frederick Campbell and Gabrielle Oliver. Stephen provided many years of dedicated service employed as a professor with the University of New Brunswick. He was a member of the Christ Church Cathedral and he loved spending time at his Summer Cottage on Oromocto Lake. Besides his wife, he is survived by five sons, Bruce (Lisa Pardy) of Fredericton, Brian (Maria Lythgoe) of Ottawa, ON, Michael (Sheila) of Nackawic, NB, Eric (Joanne) of Toronto, ON and Ian (Angie) of Fredericton; eight grandchildren, Julia, Peter, Gabrielle, Jennifer, Celyn, Danielle, Connell and Stephen; one great-grandchild, Brianna. Funeral Arrangements are incomplete at this time and are under the care and direction of York Funeral Home, 302 Brookside Drive, Fredericton, NB.
