HARWOOD, REV. ALAN JOHN The unexpected death of Rev. Alan J. Harwood, age 69, of Vinegar Hill, Kings County, NB, occurred at his home, on Tuesday, February 7, 2006. He was the husband of Louise (Skrotzky) Harwood. Alan was the son of the late Ronald and Connie (Osborne) Harwood. Alan is survived by his wife, sons; Michael and Clarissa Harwood, London, ON , and Oliver Harwood and Marie Bortolotto, Vancouver, BC, daughters; Grace and Glenn Beeswanger, San Francisco, CA, and Esther and David Lee, Fredericton, seven grandchildren, brothers; David and Joan, Johannesburg, SA, Paul and Shirley, Basingstoke, UK, and Colin and Corrine, Ottawa, ON, sister; Margot Howell, Vancouver, BC, and mother-in-law Martha Skrotzky. He is resting at Sherwood's Funeral Home (839-2156), 18 Scovil Road, Norton, NB, with visitation on Saturday, from 2 to 7 p.m. A Celebration Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, February 12, 2006, from Midland Baptist Church, 4 Upper Midland Road, Norton, NB.
